shrugging off outdated conditioning to become more of who we are meant to be -- at the same time as it is a key to understanding traumatic imprints. In this lecture, we’ll unpack the archetypes of the Moon and Uranus and ways hard aspects between the two can describe a push toward liberation from ancestral patterns that have shaped a person's identity and emotional responses. This will include a discussion of intergenerational trauma, chart examples and a discussion of ethical applications of trauma-focused approaches to astrology.

Amanda Moreno is a queer, mixed-race astrologer, soul worker and teacher based out of Seattle, WA. She obtained her Master’s Degree in depth psychology with a focus on how astrological ritual can help folks transition through apocalyptic rites of passage. In the decade since, she has built an astrological practice that centers a relational, psychological model of astrological work that is rooted in evolutionary and queer astrologies and a hearty dose of practical woo.

She is a certified practitioner and supervisor in Deep Memory Process, has been core faculty at Portland School of Astrology since 2020, and serves as a Board Member for the International Association of Ethics in Astrology. Amanda is highly invested in using astrology as a tool for increased social consciousness and paradigm shift. Her greatest joy is supporting clients and students in their process of connecting with their spark of genius.
