Andrea Mallis, The Astrology of Athletes
Curious about your favorite athletes? Wonder what’s on their horizon? Discover whose star is on the rise with a unique map of optimum timing. The Astrology of Athletes illuminates the mental, emotional, and physical game. By comparing planets at birth to current alignments, we will explore factors that establish excellence, as well as injury proneness and other hot spots. Utilizing charts of prominent athletes (such as golfer Tiger Woods, Giants pitcher Barry Zito, Barry Bonds, 49ers quarterback Alex Smith and others), we’ll uncover personality and potential, ascertain performance cycles, reveal clubhouse chemistry, and emphasize essential astrological characteristics.
Andrea Mallis is an Astrologer and a devoted baseball fan who grew up in New York during the Mets’ 1973 “Ya Gotta Believe” season. Pioneering the magical blend of sports and astrology, she created the “Astrology Minute” after calling Oakland A’s post-game radio show Extra Innings in 2001. A graduate of Vicki Noble’s Motherpeace School of Healing Arts and resident astrologer at Berkeley’s Gaia Bookstore, Andrea shares 20 years of experience with Virgo in Service Astrological Consulting. She writes horoscopes for MLB.com, has appeared on ESPN and in Sports Illustrated, and is featured in the recent book FantasyLand, on fantasy baseball.
