Thanks to all who helped make International Astrology Day a rousing success! That includes those who "just" came and listened to the presentations, maybe made some new friends, chatted with old ones and enjoyed being a part of a growing community of astrologers.
Join us at UAC!
SFAS along with other West Coast astrological groups will have an information table at the United Astrology Conference. Volunteers are needed to help keep the table open. In the vendor's hall this will be a great place to hang out with local friends and to meet new people. At conferences we usually run into locals who aren't familiar with local resources, so this booth will make it easier to make new connections with our neighbors and to let folks coming to the Bay Area know when and where to meet the astrologers. This is a great opportunity to network for the group and for yourself! Please contact Fabienne at events@sfastrologicalsociety.com to volunteer.

SFAS invites you to join us on the last Thursday of the month for a lively astrological presentation, discussion and excellent company.
Regular meetings start at 7:30 pm and are held at the Fort Mason Center, Building C, Room C-260 -- in San Francisco's Marina District. Parking and public transit available.
(In November and December, to accomodate the holidays -- and when there are special events at Ft. Mason -- meetings may be earlier in the month, but still always on Thursdays.)
Regular Meetings, open to the general public, cost $7 for members and $12 for non-members.
New Rates Begin in JulyBeginning July 2012 regular meetings will cost $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
$2 discounts off meeting fees for:
- Students with a student ID card
- Senior citizens (age 65+),
- People experiencing their Uranus Return (born 1927 or earlier) with membership get in for free!

Healing With Horary Astrology

In many horary charts, the key to the successful judgment lies in discovering something significant about an event that has already happened. This is especially the case with charts involving missing persons or pets, where we need to extract every vital clue from the chart that we possibly can. From missing objects, lost pets, through to identifying the perpetrator of a crime, this one-day workshop highlights the most important and reliable techniques used in judging ‘mystery’ charts.
