Meeting the Planets with a Magical Mind
When astrology works--it feels like magic -- but few practitioners admit that magic is actually a standard astrology technique. We freely discuss midpoints, solar arcs, and tertiary progressions, but rarely acknowledge the importance of intuition, imagination and the ability to think like a mystic. Such skills help make our astrology readings more accurate and transformative. Yet the development of our magical mind is too often private, haphazard and inhibited. It doesn't have to be! Drawing on the works of Marisilio Ficino, Carl Jung, Geoffrey Cornelius, and others, we'll take these invisible arts out of the closet. You'll leave with renewed inspiration for both astrology and your natural mystical gifts."
Saturday Workshop:
November 20, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Venus Retrograde: Desire, Seduction, and Mastery
Though she's often overlooked, Venus just may be the most powerful planet in your chart. She's got the key to your happiness. She can fuel your work or ruin it. She can shatter your relationships or fill them with delight. She's especially potent during the weeks of her retrograde, which means that in the past few weeks, we've all been surrendering to her seductions. This workshop convenes just as Venus stations direct, an ideal time to integrate her most recent lessons and commands. We will explore her cycle and tune into her magic. Using examples from Dana's extensive Venus research, we'll uncover her desires in every sign and find the sweet spot in all of her house positions. Expect a memorable day!
