Join us at UAC!
SFAS along with other West Coast astrological groups will have an information table at the United Astrology Conference. Volunteers are needed to help keep the table open. In the vendor's hall this will be a great place to hang out with local friends and to meet new people. At conferences we usually run into locals who aren't familiar with local resources, so this booth will make it easier to make new connections with our neighbors and to let folks coming to the Bay Area know when and where to meet the astrologers. This is a great opportunity to network for the group and for yourself! Please contact Fabienne at events@sfastrologicalsociety.com to volunteer.

Andrea Gehrz
Psychic Ability and the Chart
Do you have any psychic abilities? Have you ever had a psychic experience or seen a ghost? If so, did you consult your astrological chart? During this lecture, Andy will talk about a diverse number of psychic experiences, everything from hearing dead people to predicting the future to seeing fairies, and how these experiences can be seen in the astrological chart. Andy will also address the topic of the spirit guide and astrology, and the ancient connection between these two concepts.
Andy Gehrz has been a practicing astrologer for over ten years in Portland, Oregon. She has done countless readings, with her current areas of research being relationship astrology, children's astrology, remediation and geniuses. Andy also translates ancient Greek texts into readable and clear English, her audience being modern astrologers who want to study the history of the field of astrology. Her first Greek translation entitled "An Introduction to the Tetrabiblos by Porphyry of Tyre" won an Independent Publishing award in the "Philosophy and Classics" division, and she is soon to publish her second book, a delightfully clear translation of Vettius Valens.
