General Meeting Info
SFAS invites you to join us on the last Thursday of the month for a lively astrological presentation, discussion and excellent company.
Regular meetings start at 7:30 pm and are held at the Fort Mason Center, Building C, Room C-260 -- in San Francisco's Marina District. Parking and public transit available.
(In November and December, to accomodate the holidays -- and when there are special events at Ft. Mason -- meetings may be earlier in the month, but still always on Thursdays.)
Regular Meetings, open to the general public, cost $7 for members and $12 for non-members.
$2 discounts off meeting fees for:
- Students with a student ID card
- Senior citizens (age 65+),
- People experiencing their Uranus Return (born 1927 or earlier) with membership get in for free!

Astrology Education
Finding the right teacher or right contacts within each astrological tradition can be as joyful as a treasure hunt but sometimes overwhelming.
Whether you are interested in finding out more about your own chart or want to take your astrological studies further, we suggest you come to an SFAS meeting, and our members will be happy to suggest competent astrology teachers as well as recommend other resources including online and other reading materials. There are also some astrology schools listed among our Resources.

Announcing: New Intermediate "Satellite Classes" starting in January.
The San Francisco Astrological Society is excited to announce our “Satellite Program” of classes in intermediate astrology beginning January 12, 2012. Groups will be small, informal and meet in a private setting. Under the direction of an experienced astrology teacher you will be able to look at your own chart and those of classmates for a more direct, personal understanding of the horoscope. There are three modules, and each 3-month module will focus on a specific theme. Each group will choose the module they want to start with.
Each class will have from five to eight students allowing everyone to participate, to develop a familiarity with their own and each other’s charts, and to develop more in depth skills of delineation. If there is sufficient demand we may open new classes in the future.
Pricing: For each 3-month module, the price is $75 for SFAS members and $100 for non-members.
Schedule: Classes will meet on the second Thursday of each month.
