The Astrology of the Book of Revelations

The Book of Revelation is the last book of the Bible, the final word on Christianity. Written in the 1st century AD, it was also the last great achievement of the mythic authors in the western tradition. Inspired by what we would call today a trance, Revelation is rich with astrological and mythological images. Like the prophets of the Old Testament, the book was seeking to outline a number of predictions about the future, and what it would hold.
Come hear what the authors of the Book of Revelation left in this amazing time capsule, meant to be opened in our time.

Don Cerow:  Following his Star*Myths presentations, Don was written up in the NY Times for having constructed a Phase One Stonehenge on a winery on Long Island in 2002. Thereafter he moved to Boulder, CO and in 2004 produced a planetarium show featuring the roll of myth in the constellations, in connection with Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado.
Currently Don is living in Bonnie Doon, CA where he is finishing work on a book featuring a translation of the Book of Revelation using myth as metaphor. It's quite a story.
In between projects he tours the country presenting his show and doing charts, which have included stops in: Ashland (OR), Atlanta, Boston, Boulder, Charlottesville, Houston, Knoxville, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Worth, Manhattan, Orlando, Phoenix, Saint Petersburg , San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and the Town Creek Indian Mound State Park in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina.
Don is a Level IV NCGR Astrologer. His Web Site is www.AthenasWeb.com.
