You can save $5 and pre-register for the Saturday Workshop via Pay-Pal!

San Francisco's International Astrology Day was such a success that we are already planning for next year on Saturday March 19, 2011!
Thanks especially to our wonderful speakers, and also to the volunteers who made it possible. Of course everyone who showed up contributed to its success. Without the participation of speakers, volunteers and all our attendees we couldn't have done it!
Thanks to all of you!
See you next year!

Astrology, Art, and the Chart.
Two of the best places I know of that show how the inner and outer worlds reflect each other are in astrology and art. The psyche speaks to us through art in line, form, color, images and archetypes; and these elements have astrological correlates. Richly illustrated with examples of artists (famous and not), a result of over 20 years of research on art elements, psychology, and astrology, we’re going to look at the specific art characteristics of the signs and planets to see the correspondence between psyche, chart, and artwork.
Claudia Bader has pioneered the combination of astrology and psychology since the 70s, and astrology, psychology, and art as a result of her specialty in art diagnosis. Co-author of Love Planets (1990), which combines astrodrama and relationship astrology. She has also written articles that explore the interface between psychoanalysis, astrology, alchemy, and mandalas; most recently, 4 articles for the upcoming Encyclopedia of Psychology and Religion (Springer Press).
Claudia has served on the boards of AFAN (1998-2002), The Association of Astrology and Psychology (1985-88), and the Institute for Expressive Analysis (1993-2008) where she was Executive Director, and “out” as an astrologer. On the faculty of NY NCGR and 3 NY universities, Claudia has lectured and taught her particular synthesis of astrology, depth psychology, symbolism, and art therapy nationally and internationally, including South Korea. She was a speaker at the last two UACS, and is the person who created and brought the labyrinth to UAC as well, running the labyrinth room. In 2000 she spearheaded the Mandala Project in the astrology world that culminated at UAC 2002.Claudia is in private practice in New York City. Claudia loves compassionately helping people unfold through processing the energies, archetypes and options in their life
