Linea Van Horn
Around the World with Saturn in Sagittarius
During Saturn’s current sojourn through Sagittarius, two incredible worldwide voyages have occurred, one by air and the other by sea. Neither used a drop of fossil fuel! One, a solar-powered airplane named the Solar Impulse, utilized only the most modern technology. The other, a watercraft named Hokule’a, or “Star of Gladness,” was lovingly hand-built in Hawai’i in the 1970’s based on the ancient Polynesian voyaging canoes and designed to replicate their journeys. Since then, Hokule’a has depended solely upon ancient non-instrumental navigational techniques during her many expeditions. She recently completed a grueling and amazing 3-year circumpolar adventure. Each in their own unique way, the crews of these voyages used the Sun and the stars to guide their directional decisions – just as we astrologers do!
This talk is a perfect talk for those who are interested in astrology and want to learn more, but not get overwhelmed by it. Bring your friends and family to this fun and fascinating image-heavy presentation!
