Kay Taylor

Embodied Astrology

Astrology can sometimes be a solitary, mental pursuit, trapping us in fear based thinking and in the illusion of control of life, substituting for genuine evolution and growth. Kay will show how astrology can also be filled with abundant possibilities for co-creation as we connect deeply, energetically and even physically to our chart’s potential.
This talk will be spiritual and philosophical yet also practical, addressing how various signs, nodes and houses indicate how we are most attuned to embodiment. We will look at methods to harness the chart’s messages, including transits and progressions, to evolve and not stay in repetitive patterns.
   •  Can astrology be harmful?
   •  How do dual and non-dual philosophies affect your astrological outlook?
   •  What methods might allow you to integrate and find balance through your chart?
As we come to the end of the exact squares of Pluto/Uranus and Saturn’s pass through Scorpio, we have all been through a great deal of transformative pressure. Now with Saturn entering Sagittarius we are called to manifest in the physical world according to our highest calling.
   •  How can each one of us do that, and how can we assist our clients?
More than ever before, this is the time to embody our charts in their most integrated way. The world needs empowered people to create radical change.

‘Kay Taylor is one of modern astrology’s best kept secrets. She is world-class in skill, wisdom and articulation. Her clients range from street kids to the high and mighty. I am delighted that she has chosen to make her work more public. Don’t miss her.’

‘Kay Taylor is an astrologer with real-world experience, emotional presence, clear mind, intuitive gifts and spiritual wisdom. I recommend her lectures and classes to all students and practitioners of astrology.’
Greg Bogart, PhD, MFT, author of  Astrology & Meditation

Kay Taylor  is a seasoned astrologer who integrates her intuitive and healing skills. A gifted clairvoyant, she originally developed a practice as a psychic channel and healer. Primarily because of her desire to empower people in their own transformation, she deepened her studies of psychological and evolutionary astrology, and then studied hypnotherapy and psychosynthesis, a spiritual psychology. The blend of psychosynthesis and astrology has morphed into ‘astrosynthesis’, her dynamic approach to inner processwork.

Realizing the spiritual, emotional and physically grounding value of yoga for her own path, she trained to be a yoga teacher and now teaches yoga in classes and in workshops in Berkeley and Oakland. She teaches astrology, psychosynthesis and intuitive development from beginning through advanced levels. She leads local and international retreats, is an ISAR Consulting Skills Trainer and has lectured at major conferences (ISAR, UAC, SOTA). She wrote for Astrology.com for six years, blending metaphysical and spiritual principles with astrology into a blog called “An Intuitive Life”. Known for her grounded, heart-centered approach, Kay has had a thriving full time practice for over thirty years based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
